As a certified public accountant for more than 17 years, she is versed in most aspects of nonprofit accounting, grants management life cycle, and financial management systems implementation. 

She is known for the development of grants accounting policies and procedures. creator of federal, state, city and local grants billing and accounting workflows. She has also managed grants compliance, reporting. Performed assessments for grant proposals and budget modifications processes; and engaged with grantor and donor agencies and prepared required financial reports and prepared for annual audits. 

Jo-Anne has provided accounting services to a large, 2 major nonprofit healthcare systems, an Ivy-League research university, a school district, small businesses and real estate companies. She has proficiency implementing and working with Blackbaud, Financial Edge and Raiser’s Edge and Oracle Platformx. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and holds a designation as a Chartered Global Management Accountant® (CGMA®). JoAnne also has served as treasurer and as an executive board member of the Columbus chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners a 501 (c) 3 organization. JoAnne is a graduate of Keller Graduate School of Management, DeVry University, Downer Grove, Illinois, with an M.B.A. degree, and a graduate of Queens College, City University of New York, with a B.A. degree in accounting.
